Howard Jonas
Howard S. Jonas founded IDT in August 1990 and has served as
Chairman of the Board of Directors since its inception. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Treasurer of the Company. Mr. Jonas has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of IDT Telecom and IDT Media, Co-Chairman of the Board of IDT Media, and Chairman of the Board of Winstar Holdings, LLC. Mr. Jonas is also the founder of Jonas Publishing Corp., a publisher of trade directories. Mr. Jonas became the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Net2Phone in October 2001. Mr. Jonas received a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.
James A. Courter
James A. Courter is the Chief Executive Officer of the Company as well as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, a director of IDT Telecom, the Vice Chairman of IDT Media, a director of Net2Phone, and a member of the Board of Winstar Holdings. Mr. Courter has been a senior partner in the New Jersey law firm of Courter, Kobert & Cohen since 1972. He was also a partner in the Washington, D.C. law firm of Verner, Lipfert, Bernhard, McPherson & Hand. Mr. Courter was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for 12 years, retiring in January 1991. From 1991 to 1994, he was Chairman of the President’s Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission. Mr. Courter is a director of The Berkeley School. He received a B.A. from Colgate University and a J.D. from Duke University Law School.
Ira A. Greenstein
Ira A. Greenstein joined the Company in January 2000 as Counsel to the Chairman. Since August 2001, Mr. Greenstein has served as President. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Greenstein was a partner in the law firm of Morrison & Foerster LLP where he served as the Chair of the New York Office Business Department. Concurrently, Mr. Greenstein served as General Counsel and Secretary of Net2Phone. Mr. Greenstein was an associate in the New York and Toronto offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Mr. Greenstein also served on the Securities Advisory Committee to the Ontario Securities Commission and as counsel to the Ontario Securities Commission. Mr. Greenstein serves on the Board of Overseers of Touro College. Mr. Greenstein received a B.S. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Columbia University Law School.
Stephen R. Brown
Stephen R. Brown joined IDT as Chief Financial Officer and became a director of the Company. Mr. Brown has also serves as Treasurer of the Company, Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of IDT Media, Treasurer of IDT Media, and a director of Net2Phone. Mr. Brown is currently Chairman of Film Roman, Inc., the Chairman of Digital Production Solutions, Inc., a board member of Vanguard Animation LLC, and a board nominee of Mainframe Entertainment Inc. Mr. Brown previously operated his own public accounting practice servicing medium-sized corporations as well as high net worth individuals. Mr. Brown received a B.A. in Economics from Yeshiva University and a B.B.A. in Business and Accounting from Baruch College.
Marcelo Fischer
Marcelo Fischer serves as the Company’s Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to joining IDT, Mr. Fischer was the Corporate Controller of Viatel, Inc., the International Controller of the Consumer International Division of Revlon, Inc., and held various accounting and finance positions at Colgate-Palmolive Corporation. Mr. Fischer, a Certified Public Accountant, received an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from New York University Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from University of Maryland.
Joyce J. Mason
Joyce J. Mason is the Company’s Senior Vice President and has served as General Counsel, Secretary, and a director of the Company since its inception. Previously, Ms. Mason served as a director of IDT Telecom and IDT Media. Ms. Mason became a director of Net2Phone in October 2001. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Mason was in private legal practice. Ms. Mason received a B.A. from the City University of New York and a J.D. from New York Law School.
Marc E. Knoller
Marc E. Knoller is a director of the Company and Senior Vice President. Since December 2001, Mr. Knoller has served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of IDT Media. Previously, Mr. Knoller was director of national sales for Jonas Publishing; he continues to serve as Vice President. Mr. Knoller received a B.B.A. from Baruch College.
Diane Clark
Diane Clark joined the Company in July 1997 and served as Associate General Counsel from July 1997 until April 1999. From May 1999 until June 2004 , Ms. Clark served as Managing Attorney of the Company. Since June 2004, Ms. Clark has served as Chief Legal Officer of the Company. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Clark was an associate at the law firm of Courter, Kobert, Laufer & Cohen. She received a B.A. from Rutgers College and a J.D. from Western New England College School of Law.
Morris Lichtenstein
Morris Lichtenstein serves as Executive Vice President of Business Development of the Company. He was previously Controller of the Company. Mr. Lichtenstein also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of IDT Telecom. Before joining IDT, Mr. Lichtenstein was the Controller of Mademoiselle Knitwear, Inc. Mr. Lichtenstein received a B.A. from Touro College.
Moshe Kaganoff
Moshe Kaganoff has served as the Company's Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning since January 2000 and has been a director of the Company since March 1999. From April 1994 through July 1998, Mr. Kaganoff served as the Company's Manager of Operations. Since August 2001, Mr. Kaganoff has also served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning for IDT Telecom, Inc. Mr Kaganoff holds a B.A. in Economics from Yeshiva University.
Kathleen B. Timko
Kathleen B. Timko has served as the Executive Vice President of Technology of the Company since September 2004. Ms. Timko has served as the Chief Technology Officer and a director of IDT Telecom, Inc. since May 2001 and is responsible for the technical development and operations of the Company’s global telecommunications network and information systems, including network planning, engineering, applications development and MIS. Ms. Timko began her career with the Company in 1998 as Vice President of Engineering and Chief Operating Officer of InterExchange, the Company’s engineering and technology subsidiary. Ms. Timko received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a M.S. in Computer Science from Boston University.
Morris Berger
Morris Berger has served as the Executive Vice President of Business Development of IDT since May 2003. Mr. Berger has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of IDT Entertainment, Inc. since December 2003 and as a director of IDT Entertainment, Inc. since June 2004. From October 2003 until December 2003, Mr. Berger also served as the Executive Vice President of the Animation Division of IDT Media, Inc. (the predecessor to IDT Entertainment). From September 2002 until October 2003, Mr. Berger served as the Executive Vice President, Marketing of IDT Media, Inc. Prior to joining IDT in 2001, Mr. Berger was the Chief Marketing Officer of Net2Phone, Inc. from 1999 until 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Berger served as Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Multi-Media Tutorial Services, a publicly traded educational direct marketing company. Mr. Berger graduated from Bar Ilan University in Israel in 1979.
